Solutions & Decisions is looking for the best candidates for the position of DEMAND PLANNER for a global dairy industry company. The Company is looking for an experienced Demand Planner to support the whole organization and help it succeed in the ambitious challenges.
Vacancy Description:
- The Demand Planner is responsible to successfully forecast the demand plans based on statistical forecast, enriched by inputs from comercial teams; both in short and mid terms.
- Understands how to use statistical forecasting to create a solid baseline forecast and maintains, reviews and cleans historical data and determines if this can be applied to the portfolio
- Understands the impact of business dynamics and translates them into the demand plan: NPD, phase-in/out, promotions, events, seasonality, tenders, contracts, activations
- Secures demand plan constraining in case of supply restrictions and shares the results with internal stakeholders (e.g. supply, sales and customer service)
- Follow-up of decisions/constraints from the S&OP cycle of SPAIN (supplying Customer SCs)
- Drives continuous improvement of forecast accuracy & bias in alignment with commercial teams.
- Monitors, analyzes, understands and challenges the quality of the enrichments provided by the commercial teams (assumptions, deltas, consumption, trends, issues, gaps, risks, opportunities)
- Coordinates with Supply and Commercial teams to determine priorities,corrective and preventive actions to prevent OOS and Waste in accordance with the internal procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree
- Minimum of 1-2 years in Planning experience – valuable in FMCG food companies.
- Knowledge of principles such as forecasting, S&OP, statistics
- Knowledge of ERP-systems. Valuable SAP.
- Knowledge of MS Office (advanced)
- Knowledge of operational processes/supply chain management fundamentals
- Fluent in Spanish & English, written and spoken
- Ability to communicate in Portuguese will be valued
